In Sønderborg however, volunteer Mentors make a remarkable effort through the NytNetværk Sønderborg model programme, by supporting foreign jobseekers with a degree. The programme is an unparallel success, as more than 50% of the foreigners having participated in the past four NytNetværk Sønderborg programmes have acquired a job. The NytNetværk Sønderborg programme builds on friendships and new networks being formed, and where norms in the Danish work environment are introduced.
