What did I get out of taking part in NytNetværk Sønderborg? I made friends with Mentors and Mentees – a need as a foreigner. The Mentors get a chance to meet foreigners with a university degree and businesses get an opportunity to find qualified people. I learned about the Danish culture in a work environment and how to successfully apply for a job here. I got concrete and useful tips to write focussed job applications. I improved my Danish and I had a fantastic cooperation with my Mentor. I will highly recommend NytNetværk Sønderborg to others because: It is a good programme, which really helps "new Danes". In the light of the present global economic crisis, the competitive edge of businesses is dependant upon qualified foreigners with a cultural background, who can support a successful entry into new markets!		What did I get out of taking part in NytNetværk Sønderborg? I really support the project because I got real assistance when I needed it. It was such a welcoming feeling that people of Sønderborg guided me to settle into the Danish way of life. It is praiseworthy that someone wished me well and was willing to help. I will highly recommend NytNetværk Sønderborg to others because: Søndeborg is an international city. I am fully convinced that by helping "new Danes" to find a job and making them feel at home, makes people happy and creates a better society.
